INDEPENDENT SPIRITS FESTIVAL PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

YOU DON’T NEED TO BUY OR PAY ANYTHING TO ENTER OUR PRIZE DRAW.

1. This PRIZE DRAW is only open to residents of the UK who are aged 18 or over; and residents of other countries must be of legal drinking age in their country of residence. So that we are completely fair, anyone professionally connected to 8 Doors Distillery is not allowed to enter.

2. You don’t have to buy anything to take part in this promotion, but you do need access to the internet to enter.

3. Promotion Period: You can enter this promotion between 12:00 GMT on 21 March 2026 and 23:59 GMT on 321 March 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be valid.

4. To enter: one free entry per person via the online submission form. No purchase is necessary to enter in this way. 

5. The Prize: There will be a total of 1 winner. The prize is:

• A 700ml bottle of Seven Sons whisky of your choice.

• The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

7. Winner Selection: We’ll select the winner fairly from all the valid entries we receive, by assigning each entry a number and then use a random number generator to select the winner.

8. Contacting the Winner: We’ll contact the winner via the details used to enter within 4 days after the draw. If you are our lucky winner, you must respond to us within 14 days otherwise the Prize will be awarded to a reserve winner. A total of 3 reserves will be contacted, reserves may have less time to respond. In the event of no winner or reserves responding, we reserve the right to not award the Prize.

9. Prize Acceptance: If you are our lucky winner, we will send you an email with details of your Prize as soon as we can. You must contact us to let us know which bottling you would like, and the shipping address.

10. Sorry, but you can’t transfer your Prize to someone else or exchange it for a cash alternative.

11. If, for reasons we can’t control, the Prize is no longer available, we’ll offer you an alternative prize which we hope you’ll still love but which will definitely be of equal or greater value.

The Legal and Other Bits

12. No one likes the small print, but we need to let you know about some other important stuff too:

13. The Promoter may use the winner’s name and country of residence to announce the winner of the Promotion. We reserve the right to publish the name and country of residence of the winner. The winner may object to their name or country of residence being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced by emailing hello@8doorsdistillery.com.

14. Data Privacy: We care a lot about the security of your personal data and it will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy here: https://www.8doorsdistillery.com/privacy and will only be used for the purposes of this promotion. We will only share your data with our Fulfilment Partners to fulfil and administer this promotion.

15. We believe in fair play. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or third parties will not be accepted and we will not accept cheating in any form including the use of macros or other automated means of entry, masking your identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than your own and any other behaviour that falls outside the spirit of the promotion. If you’re found to be cheating, you will be excluded.

16. Unfortunately, if you suffer any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with the prize draw or prize itself (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) 8 Doors Distillery won’t be liable for this.

17. If this promotion can’t run properly because of fraud, tampering, technical errors or anything else beyond our control that affects the running, administration, security or fairness of this promotion, we reserve the right to disqualify any person involved. We will also have the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion.

18. By entering, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

19. If someone or something tampers with this promotion in some way, whether by fraud, technical failures, system errors or other issues, including any such failure which is within the control of 8 Doors Distillery or its agencies, 8 Doors Distillery and its agencies will not be responsible if the Promotion or the prize draw is not capable of running as planned or for the non-inclusion of entries. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.

20. In the event of any dispute our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

21. If you want to know who won you can send an email to hello@8doorsdistillery.com within two months of the end of the Promotion Period, quoting “Leith Prize Draw” in the subject title.

22. By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions.

23. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Scottish Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Scotland.
