What if I want to book a tour when there is no availability showing?

During the off peak season (November to March) we may be able to arrange a tour for you outside the dates showing on the calendar. Minimum group size is 6 people and we need 5 days notice. Please contact us here to enquire about availability for your group on your chosen date.

How do I book a tour?

We recommend booking via the calendar link above or via this link which can be used up to midnight the day before the tour. After that time it is only possible to book directly at the distillery where we’ll accept walk-in bookings on the day if there are spaces available. Tour spaces are limited to 10 people so we recommend booking in advance.

Can I take my children with me on the tour?

No, we’re sorry but our tours are for over-18’s only.

What’s the maximum number of people you can take on a tour?

Our tours are for a maximum of 10 people.

Do you offer private group tours?

Please contact us with any private group tour requests and we will see what is possible.

Is your tour accessible by wheelchair?

The majority of the distillery tour is on one level and can be accessed with a wheelchair.  However, the tasting room is up a flight of 7 steps and is therefore currently inaccessible by wheelchair. If you are using a wheelchair or won’t be able to manage the steps to the tasting room, please contact us to book your tour and we can reserve space in our whisky lounge for your samples and tasting at the end of the tour. Contact us by email here.

In the distillery production area there is a platform around the stills which is only accessible via steps and forms a small part of this section of the tour. The stills can still be viewed from ground level.

We have an accessible parking spot close to the distillery door (accessed via the back of the site), and there is ramped access from the main car park at the front of the distillery. We have an accessible toilet in the whisky lounge/café area.

I will be driving or don’t want to sample the whisky can I get a cheaper price?

We have a set price for our tours which includes the samples so cannot offer a discount if you don’t wish to taste the samples. If you are driving we will give you a miniature bottle of one of our Seven Sons range to take home with you instead. If someone in your group doesn’t want to sample whisky or take part in the tour there’s lots of shops and some lovely local walks to pass the time while you are on the tour. We have great coffee, cakes and soft drinks in our lounge area too - they can sit back and enjoy the view from there.

Do you allow dogs?

No, we’re sorry but your four-legged friends aren’t able to join you in the distillery or whisky lounge. We’ll soon have space outside with tables where dogs are welcome but we only allow guide dogs inside the distillery.

I have another question not covered here, what do I do?

Please contact the distillery team and we’ll be happy to help. You can email us here or give us a call.
